The Delaware City Community Park District Commission is always looking for volunteers who want to help make our community events welcoming, fun, and successful.

From family events like our Easter Egg Hunt to seasonal celebrations, community gatherings, and special projects, volunteers play an important role in helping us serve the community.

Whether you can help occasionally or want to be involved more regularly, we would love to hear from you.

Ways You Can Help

Volunteers may be able to assist with:

• Event setup and cleanup

• Decorating

• Activity stations

• Greeting guests

• Refreshments and food tables

• Parking or crowd flow assistance

• Seasonal events and special community programs

Who Can Volunteer

We welcome community members who are dependable, friendly, and willing to help. Some volunteer opportunities may be best for adults, while others may be appropriate for teens with parent approval.

Students who need volunteer hours for school, service programs, or organizations like National Honor Society are encouraged to get involved, we’re happy to help verify hours and support your involvement.
